Community
At Civitas, a strong sense of community is at the heart of the RV experience we offer. Even though our guests stay for weeks or a few months at most, we believe in creating a welcoming environment that fosters connection, reflection, and a shared sense of place. Rather than drawing hard lines between public and private, Civitas encourages residents to see their surroundings as a shared landscape—one where community enhances personal fulfillment, even in transient moments.
To support this, RV sites are thoughtfully grouped into small clusters we call “pods,” each designed around a common theme or purpose. These podscapes give neighbors a sense of identity and belonging within the broader park, even during short stays. Surrounding these pods are shared spaces designed to bring people together: walking trails, outdoor cooking areas, picnic spots, community centers, and communal gardens. These features are more than amenities—they're invitations to pause, connect, and build meaningful moments with fellow travelers and the land itself.
Civitas isn’t just a stop on the journey—it’s a place where temporary neighbors can still find community, equity, and a deeper sense of place.
Green Living
At Civitas, we believe sustainable living shouldn’t be limited by the length of your stay. Our mission is to create eco-conscious, thoughtfully designed RV spaces that minimize environmental impact while enhancing the well-being of our guests and the land we all share.
While our residents may only stay for a season or a few weeks, the values of sustainability, minimalism, and environmental respect remain central to our design and operations. We prioritize energy-efficient infrastructure, native landscaping, low-impact development, and responsible land use to reduce our ecological footprint.
Civitas is actively pursuing LEED certification, a reflection of our commitment to environmentally responsible planning. But beyond technical benchmarks, we aim to inspire a culture of mindful living—where simple, functional spaces promote lighter living, and shared amenities encourage a deeper connection with nature and community.
By aligning with the shared values of our visitors, Civitas fosters a mutual respect between people and place, making sustainable living not just a feature of our park, but a way of life—even if only for a little while.
